Windows 7 Compatibility

We have been getting a few questions about QuickBooks and Windows 7, so here is the official word.

QuickBooks 2009/10 is supported to run on Windows 7 32 bit ONLY.

QuickBooks 2009/10 is supported to run on a Windows Server 2008 32 Bit ONLY.

Quicken 2010 is supported to run on Windows 7 32 Bit and 64 Bit.

Hot Tip

Closing QuickBooks

Before you close out of QuickBooks, close all open windows, especially reports. QuickBooks will open quicker next time as it will not have to recalculate the reports again. A quick way to close all open windows is to go to the 'Window' tab on the top bar - and choose 'Close All'
